DESIGN

This is the first step…

Coming up with a good design isn’t just about making things pretty, it’s also about making things work.  Through your design you will be able to communicate to your contractor exactly how you want your project built, and ensure that the finished product comes out exactly as you envisioned.  It’s really an essential first step in bringing your vision to life!  With this understanding in mind, we offer a few different design services to to suit your individual needs and budget.

Space Planning and Layout

Our in-house designer, Sarah offers her years of experience to help you find the perfect layout of cabinets, appliances and fixtures to make your room look great and function to your needs.  Whether it’s a kitchen, bathroom, laundry room or walk-in closet, Sarah has an amazing ability to sort through her customers requests and ideas, and translate them into a cohesive and functional design, while still preserving her customer’s individual style.  Her affordable design package comes with in-home measurement and one-on-one consultation, professional 2D and 3D layouts of your room, and up to 2 major revisions.  Many of the beautiful projects featured in our ‘works‘ section wouldn’t exist without the contribution of our talented designer!

Full Interior Design

If you’re looking for in-depth help designing your room or perhaps your whole home, then you may want to consult with an interior designer.  Interior designers can be an invaluable resource in developing your ideas and translating your style.  Through training and experience they can help you to sort through and pull together the myriad of elements of your design from colors and textures, to lighting and fixtures.  Your designer can also help you to locate vendors and suppliers and facilitate communication with your contractors so everyone is on the same page and understands your vision.  We’ve worked with some really amazing interior designers  on some of our projects, and we’d love to put you in touch.

Architect/Engineer

If you’re making structural changes to your room, or you’d like to build an addition to your home, there’s a good chance you will need an architect or an engineer or both.  With a full understanding of your cities codes, and the calculations and specifications of a structural engineer, they will be able to develop architectural plans which you can take to the city for approval and building permits.  These plans then become an invaluable road-map for your contractor and or designer.   We’ve forged strong relationships with a few talented local architects, and we will gladly help to facilitate this valuable step in the process.

What if you’ve already come up with your own design?  No problem!  With free on-line software so readily available, many of our customers come to us with their designs already worked up.  Or sometimes it’s just a rough sketch on some graph paper!  Either way, we offer a free evaluation:  It’s a chance for us to come out and meet you in your home, check all the measurements, answer questions, and offer some feedback and suggestions based on our experience.

We’d love to hear from you!
